     Historian Daniel Sterner recalls the 'lost face' of downtown Hartford in a nostalic exploration of Hartford's structural evolution. Sterner is a historic interpreter at the Harriet Beecher Stowe Center in Hartford and the author of The Guide to Historic Hartford and his new book, Vanished Downtown Hartford.
