West Hartford Symphony Orchestra “Holiday Concert”

The West Hartford Symphony Orchestra (WHSO), directed by Richard Chiarappa, will present its twelfth annual concert of holiday music on Sunday, December 15, 3:00 pm at the West Hartford Town Hall Auditorium, 50 South Main Street, West Hartford.

“We’re very excited about this program,” said Richard Chiarappa. “We’ll be playing many of the songs you know and love, including arrangements by Rachmaninoff, Mascagni, Tchaikovsky, Leroy Anderson, Robert Wendell, and of course, the great Irving Berlin.”

Soloing with the Orchestra will be soprano Margaret Astrup, professor of music and head of the voice and opera programs at Western Connecticut State University.
