West Hartford United Methodist Church Harvest Fair

The
West Hartford United Methodist
Church will be holding
the Annual Harvest Fair on Saturday, October 19th from 9:00AM
-2:00PM.  The fair sells craft items made
by the congregation featuring wearable art for adults and children including
scarves, necklaces,  hair goods, purses,
aprons, knitted and sewn items as well as home accessories including attractive
 pillows, towels, potholders, seasonable
items for fall and winter, and gifts.  Also popular is the Bakery featuring a
selection of pies, breads, cakes and cookies and the Deli with a variety of
jellies, relishes, candy, and prepared foods. 
Other features include the Snack Shack where you can have a delicious
lunch, Silent Auction, White Elephant & Collectibles.  Be sure to visit Half-Price Plaza where
you’ll find new, discontinued craft items at least 50% off original prices and
the craft supply corner with materials for sale. The Pumpkin Patch supporting
our annual ASP ministry trip is located on the front lawn.

There
will be games, activities, and low cost craft projects to make for the young
folks. The first 150 adult guests to the fair will receive a free gift.  Admission is free.

The
church is located at 1358 New Britain Avenue, Exit 40 off I-84 just one block
east of Westfarms Mall.  Look for the
pumpkins on the front lawn!  For more
