Zen Spirit-Christian Spirit Weekend Retreat: Meditation as a Christian Contemplative Practice, with Fr. Robert Kennedy, S.J. 

This silent retreat for men and women offers an opportunity to grow closer to God through a deeper contemplative prayer life, strengthened by the presence of others.  Open to persons of all religious and non-religious affiliations; it includes zazen (seated meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), changing, dharma talks and daisan (one-on-one interviews with the teacher), and beginners’ instruction.  Begins with dinner from 6-7 p.m. Friday evening and concludes at noon on Sunday.  $325.
