Architect Richard Gage, AIA, is on a nation-wide tour premiering his new documentary film, "9/11: Explosive Evidence - Experts Speak Out." This week, Massachusetts and Connecticut audiences have the opportunity to see the film and discuss it with Mr. Gage, the film’s producer.

Beginning in Southern California last month, Gage has crossed the country to take the podium at the West Hartford Town Hall on Sunday at 7:00 P.M. to present the film, which challenges the official story of how the three World Trade Center skyscrapers were destroyed on 9/11.

The objective of the film is to ensure that the incomplete and misleading official account is corrected. Gage is the founder of the organization Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911 Truth) with a membership of over 1700 architects and engineers insisting on the need for a new official investigation into the destruction of the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7. These technical experts are convinced that the official government story of the destruction of the Twin Towers and WTC Building 7 is inconsistent with the laws of physics. This film confirms their beliefs. Forty-three unaffiliated scientists and technical professionals with expertise in high-rise architecture, structural engineering, metallurgy, chemistry and physics present the case for controlled demolition of these iconic buildings.

Adding further weight to the call for correcting the official account, the film includes interviews with several family members and first-responders that are not satisfied with the official story.  Eight experts in psychology discuss the difficulties that many people have in confronting the myth-shattering fact that the three World Trade Center skyscrapers were demolished with explosives.

In support of the documentary, actor Ed Asner spoke at the Beverly Hills Music Hall Theatre in Los Angeles at the press conference announcing the start of Gage’s nationwide tour, which continues through July 11.  Even though the film's creators have been ridiculed as conspiracy theorists, Asner pointed out that large-scale deception is not without precedent. Asner questioned the integrity of the corporate media when it comes to reporting on many contentious subjects. "I know that no matter how many journalists may be out there who want to write that story... that they'll always have that editor, a whole panoply of editors, and their publisher, and the advertisers, and the whole vigilante crowd waiting to devour them," he stated, "and they'll never write another story again."

Best known for his Emmy-winning role in The Mary Tyler Moore Show, Asner has starred in over 275 films and TV shows, and hasn't slowed down at the age of 83. Even though some attendees were undoubtedly surprised to see such a prolific actor advocate for this thought-provoking documentary, this is not the first time he has supported the film's creators.  In 2011, he narrated the 15-minute mini-documentary that many have seen on PBS, "Architects and Engineers: Solving the Mystery of Building 7", which focuses on the fall of WTC Building 7.

A variety of media sources, including Popular Mechanics, BBC and the History Channel, have dismissed the assertions of AE911Truth and presented their own arguments in favor of the theory that jet fuel and office fires were the primary factor in the WTC skyscrapers' collapse. Asner referred to these groups and their followers as "bobbleheads" who supporters of AE911Truth must endure in order to get their message out to the public.

Asner is not the only respected public figure to call for a new 9/11 investigation. Civil rights icon Dick Gregory declared his support for AE911Truth in 2010, and former Senator Mike Gravel has also joined their ranks. In addition, Richard Humenn, the Principal Chief Electrical Designer of the Twin Towers, has questioned the official account of the buildings' destruction.

Gage also lambastes the media for not reporting on the errors that have been identified by architects, structural engineers, physicists and chemists that remain unacknowledged and uncorrected. He reminds audiences of the high regard they have for architects and engineering professionals by saying, “The public expects that engineering reports will be accurate and factual and they are astounded when they find out that nearly two thousand professionals have stood up and cried foul about these 9/11 reports.”

It appears that the views expressed by AE911Truth, considered by many to be on the fringe, are beginning to attract some heavy hitters. If there is one thing that both sides of this debate can agree on, it's that the issue is not going away quietly.
