Auction and Talent Show

First Church of Christ in Wethersfield will be holding their annual Auction and Talent Show on Saturday, March 26th.  This popular event is open to the public and draws people from many surrounding towns.  All the proceeds will support youth mission trips this summer. 

Silent Auction
The silent auction would not be possible without the generosity of local merchants, businesses and individuals.  You will “feel good” when you see hundreds of gift certificates, items, gift baskets and services that have been thoughtfully donated for this special cause.  Some of the donors include:  Firestone, J. Talent Show
The entertainment is a true variety show involving talent of all ages and abilities: professionals, pre-professionals and children donating their time to support a great cause.  You are guaranteed to “feel good” and smile a lot!

The Mission Teams
The teams that will go out this summer include a lot of young people, mostly of high school age.  We can all “feel good” about their desires to help those who are less fortunate than themselves.   In July they will travel to the Dominican Republic to serve the Haitians with hospital construction, food and clothing distribution, running medical clinics in the sugar cane fields and sharing the love of the Lord through works of mercy and evangelism.  All proceeds go directly to supporting these trips and purchasing needed supplies.
