This "Capital City Ride" starts at Riverside Park, at the historic Boathouse in Hartford and rides out and back through the most scenic sites of downtown Hartford. The 25, 50, and 75 mile route options will highlight the State Capitol, Bushnell Park and the Founders Bridge.
The routes are completely supported by volunteers, relief vehicles, bicycle mechanics and rest stops. There is a party to celebrate cyclists' and volunteers' achievements at the conclusion of the ride. The ride provides a chance for cyclists to form a bond not only with friends they are riding with, but also with other dedicated cyclists moving together to raise funds and awareness for a cure.
