Calling all Superheroes and Princesses; It’s PuriMania at the Mandell JCC! Saturday, March 10, 2012

Superheroes and Princesses join the celebration with Queen Esther and Uncle Mordechai for Purim fun at the Mandell JCC’s PuriMania on Saturday, March 10, 2012 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT.

PuriMania features fun for the whole family with Boppers DJs, inflatable obstacle courses, a costume parade around the facility, and delicious Hamentashen to nosh on. Families will receive a photo souvenir and goody bag to commemorate the event.

Purim is the Jewish holiday that celebrates the salvation of the Jewish people from the tyrant Haman by Queen Esther and her cousin Mordechai. Purim merry-making includes carnivals, costumes, bringing gifts of food and reading Megillat Esther.
