Ten years ago, Our Companions Domestic Animal Sanctuary began with a gift of 43 acres of land in Ashford, CT...a defunct industrial egg farm. Today, Our Companions is about to break ground to erect its first “Animal Cottage”. Our Companions will not only rescue, rehabilitate and offer pet adoptions but will be a destination for families to enjoy, complete with hiking trails and an off-leash dog park. Come learn about us!
