Companions for Living to Sponsor Hypnotist Dan LaRosa to Benefit the Alzheimer's Association of Connecticut

Companions for Living, a West-Hartford based agency that provides home care services for seniors and people with disabilities, will present comedic hypnotist Dan LaRosa at West Hartford’s Jewish Community Center, with proceeds benefitting the Alzheimer’s Association’s Connecticut Chapter. This is the third year that the event named “Vino and a Show – a FUNdraiser for the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut” will be presented.  This year’s event will include a cocktail hour with wine, beer and hors d’oeuvres donated by Fleming’s Steak House prior to Dan LaRosa’s presentation.  Seeing is believing… and laughing out loud. In less than three seconds, Dan LaRosa hypnotizes volunteers and transforms them into “stars on stage”. Unlike most hypnotic shows that take 30 to 40 minutes just to get through the induction, this show gets right to the fun. You’ll see Dan’s superstars fly a magic carpet, journey to a mysterious planet, speak an intergalactic language, sing like rock stars, dance the ballet, ride race horses, forget their own names and even become five years old.  It’s “Boomer humor!”  Witness people right next to you fall asleep at the snap of a finger… and maybe… you’ll even become hypnotized yourself. Tickets are $40 and may be purchased by calling Companions for Living at (860) 882-0802.  .
