Fall Event to Benefit Hartford Preservation Alliance and Rebuilding Together Hartford

Fall event to benefit Hartford Preservation Alliance and rebuilding together Hartford. Twelve local interior designers have been selected to participate in Designer Spaces & Market Places, an annual event to benefit two local non-profits: Hartford Preservation Alliance and Rebuilding Together Hartford.

Kicking off with an Opening “Passport Party” on Friday evening, September 23rd and running through Sunday, September 25th, the weekend will showcase
Connecticut finest designers, along with a vendor marketplace, where guests can view, admire and purchase items. This year’s benefit features an “inspirations
from around the world” theme, and will be held in the beautiful and historic “Design Center” at 1429 Park Street Building, in the Parkville section of Hartford.

Participating for the second year in a row is interior designer and event co-chair, Richard Ott of Richard
Ott Interior Spaces in Hartford. “As a designer, I have seen firsthand thousands of homes. To be able to play a small part in saving someone’s home is a wonderful thing. Designer Spaces & Market Places does just that. It gives back to these two wonderful organizations, which helps preserves Hartford’s neighborhoods, while helping to
keep families in their homes,
” said Ott. Ott, who is also president of the Hartford Preservation Alliance, one of two charities benefitting from the event.  Ott added that in addition to “raising much needed funds for these two
charities, it raises awareness for both Hartford Preservation Alliance and Rebuilding Together Hartford. And that is what we need.”
