Hartford area vegetarians go picnicing

We will have a potluck picnic in the gardens of this beautiful historic Butler-McCook house museum. It's the mustard-color house near the library. The gardens are gorgeous and the house and its history are very interesting. Please bring a dish to share and your own place setting stuff.  Let's try to be good stewards of the planet and not leave trash behind.

The restored house is now a museum and will be open for free part of the time this evening. This is one of the wonderful things that Hartford offers. There will also be a jazz concert outdoors. From their website:

Garden Sounds Concert Series Date: 7 August 2012 05:30 PM to 07:30 PM
