Immigrant Stories at Fertile Ground Community Breakfast

Do you have an immigration story to tell? Hear about immigrant experiences at the next session of Fertile Ground.  Come to the Fertile Ground Breakfast, Saturday, May 12th at the Universalist Church of West Hartford, 433 Fern Street.   With an increasing number of immigrant families in West Hartford, you will find this an enlightening discussion open to everyone.

Come to talk and to listen to our neighbors who have immigrated to this country.  What does it mean to you to belong?  What do these new residents face in West Hartford?  How are we helping them?  This will be a storytelling session.  We also hope to have some reflection by professionals on immigration policy.

Fertile Ground is a community-networking breakfast series for individuals and organizations involved in social action, services and programs.  A continental breakfast starts at 9:30 AM and the program follows from 10 to noon.  For more information, contact Sue Wilson at 860-523-9970 or swplanner@sbcglobal.net.
