Mandell JCC, Rosenberg Orthodontics and Young Actors Team Up For Amazing Dreamcoat Donor Drive

(Nov 29, 2011 West Hartford, CT) The Mandell JCC and Rosenberg Orthodontics have raised the curtain on the Amazing Dreamcoat Drive, to help warm up families in need, as part of the JCC’s December Youth Theater Production of the hit musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. Ticket-holders for the December 3, 4, 10 and 11, 2011 performances are requested to bring gently worn coats and jackets to the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Ave., West Hartford. JCC members and the general public may also drop off outerwear donations at Member Services Center during regular business hours through December 15, 2011. All donations will be distributed to Nutmeg Big Brothers/Big Sisters. Coats can also be brought to all Rosenberg Orthodontics offices in West Hartford, Canton, Wethersfield or Newington. Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be performed on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 7:00 p.m., and Sunday, December 4, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with two more performances held on Saturday, December 10, at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m. in the Mandell JCC’s Herbert Gilman Theater, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT. All performances are sponsored by Mandell JCC Partner, Rosenberg Orthodontics. More than forty young actors and singers from various towns star in the musical.

The Mandell JCC Youth Theater Production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is directed and choreographed by Carolyn Mostel Weiser, with musical direction by Frank P. Jackson, production by Sara Steiner, and assisted by stage manager Andrew Small. Tickets for the show are on sale now, $9 for students, and $11 for adults.
