Mandell JCC to Hold Café Europa – Holocaust Survivors Group

The Mandell JCC invites all Holocaust survivors from the Greater Hartford community to join each other for Café Europa on September 12, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m., at the Mandell JCC, Zachs Campus, 335 Bloomfield Avenue, West Hartford, CT.

Café Europa is a new group designed to bring together local Holocaust survivors for a variety of social and educational programs. With Jewish and Yiddish music and a kosher lunch, this program will also include time to reconnect with old friends and meet new ones. Café Europa will be held monthly on October 10, November 14, and December 12, 2012 from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Transportation assistance is available for those in need, and a donation of $2 is suggested to participate.

Café Europa is funded by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Materials Claims Against Germany and through community support. For more information, contact Sharon Holtzberg, 860-231-6311 or the Member Services Center, 860-236-4571, or visit www.mandelljcc.org.
