Shopping Event to benefit Water Equity

Community Shopping Event – Water Equity

Water Equity is a project of a group of Hall High School students. Concerned about the lack of safe drinking water in much of sub-Saharan Africa, they have decided to do something about it. The students' mission is to raise $5,000 to fund the construction of a well in a village without access to clean drinking water through the non-profit “charity: water”.  Check out their website at http://waterequity.wordpress.com/

Today Ten Thousand Villages West Hartford will donate 15% of all sales (excluding gift cards) to Water Equity.  Come out to Ten Thousand Villages today between 12 and 5 p.m. and help us help them reach their goal!
