Wonder of Women

The Women & Girls’ Fund at the Main Street Community Foundation is pleased to announce Faith Middleton as this year’s guest speaker at the 11th Annual Wonder of Women (WOW) event. All proceeds from the event will be distributed during the Fund’s annual grantmaking cycle in the fall.

Each spring, hundreds of area women and men gather for dinner and fun in support of the mission of the Women and Girls’ Fund. Their mission is to improve the quality of life for all women and girls in Bristol, Burlington, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington and Wolcott.

Middleton, a print and radio journalist, is perhaps best known for her shows on NPR including The Food Schmooze and Politics, Burgers and Beer. The editors and readers of Connecticut Magazine named her Best Talk Show Host for eleven consecutive years.
