Will It Rain on Halloween?

While the forecast for Halloween doesn't call for hurricanes, tropical storms or snow this year, it is calling for rain.

Chances are, the children you know have already started asking how much it will rain on Halloween. Here's the National Weather Service forecast for West Hartford.

Halloween Day

A chance of showers, mainly after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 61. There's a 40 percent chance of precipitation, with new precipitation amounts predicted at less than a tenth of an inch.

Halloween Night

The forecast calls for patchy fog and rain, mainly after 10 p.m. Temperatures are estimated at a low of 54 degrees. Chance of precipitation is 80 percent, with new precipitation amounts estimated between a quarter and half of an inch.
