Town of West Hartford to Host 'Thank You to Our Veterans' Event Nov. 10

The Town of West Hartford – Department of Human and Leisure Services announces the 2nd Annual Thank You to our Veterans event at the Veterans Memorial Ice Skating Rink. The event will take place on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 3 - 4:30 pm. 

All veterans and active service personnel and their immediate families will enjoy free admission and skate rental for the session. (ID required)  Regular admission fees apply to all others. There will be a bake sale and fill a skate with all proceeds going to the Wounded Warrior Project. The rink will be collecting donations now through November 10 so even if you can’t make the event, you can stop by and leave your donation at the rink.  Every one attending will receive a ticket to be eligible to win a door prize!
