West Hartford's Thanksgiving Week Forecast

When you're doing last minute grocery store runs, here's what the National Weather Service is predicting for West Hartford the week of Thanksgiving.

Tuesday: The forecast calls for a 30 percent chance of rain, mainly after 3 p.m. High near 39.

Tuesday Night: There's a 100 percent chance of rain and precipitation that could be heavy at times. One to two inches of rain is possible. The temperature is predicted to rise to 47 degrees by 5 a.m. Wednesday morning. Winds may gust as high as 24 mph, the NWS reports.

Wednesday: There's a 100 percent chance of precipitation and one to two inches of rain may fall, mainly before 5 p.m. Rain could be heavy at times. Winds could gust as high as 39 mph. High near 59 degrees.

Wednesday Night: The NWS is predicting a 40 percent chance of rain and snow overnight. Temperatures will fall to around 28 degrees and winds may gust as high as 39 mph. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.

Thanksgiving Day: 
No precipitation is in the forecast for Thanksgiving Day. The NWS forecast calls for a sunny, breezy day and a temperature of around 35 degrees. Gusts may get as high as 43 mph but will average between 15 and 20 mph, the NWS reports.

Thanksgiving Night: The night will be mostly clear, with a low of around 22 degrees.

Friday: The NWS is calling for a sunny day, with a high near 33 degrees.
