Could it be? Another weekend is here? Yep, and this one's a good one with tons of fun to get your kiddos out and about. Take your pick of a Strawberry Fest, Touch A Truck, Baseball Game bonanza or one of the many Dad’s Day discoveries. Firework Frenzy at the Rock Cats Game
Take the gang to enjoy a great game of baseball and top off the night watching their fantastic fireworks show (post game).

Parent’s Night Out My Gym West Hartford
Take your tykes to learn how to hula while you enjoy a night out! You’ll have fun and they’ll have a blast with a night filled with games, rides, and activities. Best of all they’ve got dinner covered too, so no need to worry about feeding the kids beforehand.

Parent’s Night Out at Generation Y
Who needs a babysitter when you’ve got Generation Y on your team? Enjoy a night out on the town while your kiddos have a blast too. They’ll get to play games, watch a movie, eat dinner and have FUN!

Strawberry Fest at Lyman Orchards
Gather the gang for a day of good ol’ fashioned fun. Pick some strawberries, partake in a pie-eating contest, get your face painted, or hop on a horse-drawn wagon or pony ride! And, while you shop, enjoy free food samples, strawberry treats from the Bakery, and free raffles and prizes. Don't forget to dust off those dancin’ shoes for the live country music show on the Deck.

South Windsor Strawberry Fest & Craft Fair
That’s right it’s strawberry mania this weekend! Head to Nevers Park for a full day of fun with the family! This awesome event covers it all with a craft fair, endless activities for the kids, live entertainment, food and even a Miss Strawberry pageant! A few highlights for the kiddos include: face painting, a petting zoo, the Strawberry Express trainride, Kiddie tractor rides, zip line rides and more.

“Bacon” Up a Good Time with Dad
Dads love bacon!! Bring Dad or Grandad to a class all about one of their fave foods...bacon. We will prepare spicy bacon roll ups, create bacon cups for a BLT Salad and even prepare maple bacon cupcakes. For ages 5 and up.

Touch A Truck at Lucy Robbins Welles Library
This fantastic event is free for the whole family. Kids young and old can touch, honk, horns, and climb on the vehicles we will have on display. A few vehicle highlights include: a Back Hoe, Fire Truck, Pay Loader, Dump Truck, Deck Mower, Police Cruiser, Medical Ambulance, Dunkin Donuts truck and more! Come on down and have some fun!

Big Boy Toy Day at Blue Ridge Farms

Old England Street Market

Vintage Baseball Game
Take your little slugger out for a real old-fashioned ball game! Presented by the Friends of Vintage Baseball. Bring your lawn chairs, blanket, picnic lunch and sunscreen...and they’ll supply the fun! The first game is played following the 1865 rules and the second follows rules from 1861. That's right, they mean vintage! FREE parking and FREE admission.

Paint Your Own Bobblehead at the Rock Cats Game
Before the baseball begins, enjoy the pre-game block party with games and activities! We recommend getting there early as the first 1,200 kids (12 and under) will get to Paint their own Bobblehead! This pre-fest is free and fun! Where: New Britain Stadium, New Britain

SUNDAY:

Open Cockpit Sunday
Take your pint-sized pilot to the New England Air Museum this Sunday for Open Cockpit Sunday! Your amateur aviator will be able to climb into the cockpit of 10 vintage aircrafts, two static simulators AND a full motion simulator. There’s no age limit either, so all the “kids” in the fam big and small can join the fun. We have a feeling this special showing will have Dads and Granddads frenzying to the front of the line this Father’s Day.

Father’s Day at Connecticut Trolley Museum
