KO to Host Athletics Open House for Prospective Students

Prospective students who want to learn more about sports at Kingswood Oxford are invited to an Athletics Open House on Monday, Dec. 9, from 6-7:30pm.

The Open House, hosted by the Admissions Office and Athletic Director Sue Cabot, will be held in KO’s Chase * Tallwood building. Prospective middle and upper school students will have the chance to meet with coaches and players from 26 different sports offered at the independent school located just steps from Blue Back Square. The evening will also feature a panel of current student-athletes.

During the just-ended Fall season, KO’s varsity football team was co-champion in the Fairchester League (first time in school history), and the Middle School Boys’ and Girls’ soccer teams both went undefeated. In addition, Boys’ Basketball coach Durelle Brown ’97 was recently inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Manhattan College, where he is fourth-highest all-time scorer.
