Northwest Catholic Football Loses at Home

Northwest Catholic Football 9/29/2012

On Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, the Northwest Catholic Indians hosted Bloomfield. The teams were both scoreless in the first half. Although the Indians had four first half interceptions by Nick Gaynor, Matt McGoldrick (2) and Will Carew they remained scoreless.

Minutes into the second half, Bloomfield's Cambell ran in for the touchdown. The extra point was good and would win the game for Bloomfield. The Indians had two second half interceptions by Mac Crispino and Ryan Jendraszek. Jendraszek ran the interception in for a touch down with 5:17 left in the game.

The two point conversion was no good, and the Indians would lose by one point, 7-6. The Indians played hard and never gave up.
