The West Hartford Chamber of Commerce was happy to celebrate this year’s Noah Webster Award recipients, Mr. John Lemega, member of the Senior Citizen Advisory Commission and Mr. Chuck Joseph, owner of in West Hartford, at its 24th Annual Meeting & Awards Ceremony on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 at . This event was sponsored by Rockville Bank.

The Chamber also recognized its Volunteer-of-the-Year, , for their generous contributions to the Chamber.

About the Noah Webster Award

Noah Webster Award candidates are chosen for their commitment to community service in West Hartford.  The Noah Webster Award was established in 1989 and is given each year to the person, persons, program or organization that has exemplified an extraordinary commitment to the West Hartford Community.  Honorees are nominated by their peers in the community.  A committee comprised of Chamber of Commerce board members selects the honorees.
