April 16, 2012- West Hartford, CT NorthStar Wealth Partners to sponsor Travelers Celebrity Mini-Golf Tournament NorthStar Wealth Partners (NSWP), a respected wealth management firm in the West Hartford area, announced today they are the exclusive sponsor of new event that is being held in conjunction with the longstanding Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands. The Travelers Championship has added a Celebrity Mini-Golf Tournament which will feature national and regional media personalities. The event will take place on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. NorthStar Wealth Partners is the exclusive sponsor of this year’s mini-golf course where the tournament will be played. The NorthStar Nine will remain open after the event for complimentary play for the duration of the week. It will be located in the Kids Zone of the tournament grounds and open from Wednesday through Sunday, June 19 -23, 2013.

The Celebrity Mini-Golf Tournament winner will receive $5,000 to designate to a charity of their choice. Brandon Marinelli , Founder and Partner of NorthStar had this to say about the firm’s involvement in this inaugural event, “At NorthStar we pride ourselves on thinking outside the box. We take that approach in solving our clients financial and wealth management needs, and the idea of a mini-golf course being made available to the community during a professional golf tournament was an opportunity we simply couldn’t pass up. Personally, I can’t wait to get out on the NorthStar Nine and test the greens myself.”
