Northwest Catholic Boys’ Basketball Coach John Mirabello has made it to the regional round in USA Today’s America’s Best High School Basketball Coach competition. The voting for the best coach in the region, which includes one coach each from Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island and New York, began January 22 and continues to January 30 at noon. As of Wednesday, January 29, at 8am, Coach Mirabello had received over 74,000 votes, putting him about one percent behind Coach I.J. Pinkham of Boothbay Harbor, ME.
