Letter: Who Wants to Run Against Beth Bye?

Senator Bye has legislated me out of a job in part D of PA 12-40. It is only fair that I try to vote her out of a job. I would run, but I am not sure if I am the best person for this. Is there anyone considering running for Beth Bye's seat?

She is a god awful state senator. Horrible representative of her constituency.

You know, I haven't really followed state politics until last year, so I assumed that her popularity was deserved. She and Malloy have made a mess of education reform, and any human being who can't admit a mistake has no business being a leader in a democracy.

I really feel that with Governor Malloy in such a precarious spot in terms of poll numbers, he should start to distance himself from Bye to strengthen his position. He doesn't need her blessing to get the West Hartford vote. He'll win that just as handily her without her. And in the rest of the state where he's vulnerable, Bye can only drag him down.

Bungled "Education Reform" will be the Republicans' best weapon in this election year -- better even than the economy. Any Republicans listening?
