Patch’s Poll: How Much Has Gov. Malloy Accomplished?

Connecticut’s chief elected official lists all his successes during the first 18 months in office in an interview with WFSB.

Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has no disappointments and is very happy being governor of Connecticut, according to statements he made on WFSB’s “Face the State" program on Sunday.

Malloy also told the Sunday news show he’s accomplished a lot in his first 18 months in office, such as “nearly balancing the state budget, winning education reform and pushing legislation to permit Sunday liquor sales,” according to a report by The Associated Press.

Malloy was elected in 2010 by a small margin after beating Republican candidate Tom Foley. He’s the first Democrat to hold the office of governor in two decades.

, the governor said that would be due to lawmakers overestimating the pace of the national economic recovery, according to the AP.

I completely agree with you P.B. I can't think of a way Malloy will ever get my vote again. What has he accomplished? He's made an expensive state even more expensive to live in, especially for the people who can afford it the least.

I want to know where's the millions he was supposed to save us with his big state worker kerfuffle last year - lots of posturing, no results

One term, too bad you can't impeach him today. Napoleon does not represent "The People!" If he did, CT would still have the Death Penalty and State worker's would see a 15% across the board cut in wages!!
