Sleep is one of those things that we obsess about. When we have babies we worry they aren't sleeping enough. When we have teenagers we complain they are sleeping too much. As for ourselves, well, we are always sure we need more than we are getting.
Experts say adults should get between seven and nine hours a night. Lack of sleep has been tied to serious problems, like diabetes, obesity and accidents, prompting the Centers for Disease Control to say that sleep is "increasingly recognized as important to public health," according to the Huffington Post.
