Open House This Sunday, 16 Ferncliff

As you are planning your weekend activities don't forget to stop by the open house this Sunday at 16 Ferncliff in West Hartford.  Stop in anytime between 1-3pm.

Located in Norfeldt school district, this home is a hidden treasure.  You can watch the sunrise from the bedroom and living room each morning, and walk out the door to the reservoir. Ferncliff is off of Rt 44 at the first traffic light west of mountain road, so getting in and out of the street is a piece of cake. Situated on over an acre, this true ranch offers something for everyone.

The home is truly one floor living, with the master bedroom suite, living space, laundry, and garage all on one level.  The kitchen island comfortably seats 5, and you won’t mind standing around on the cork floor.  Cooking is a joy with a 5-burner gas stove and double ovens, all stainless steel. The open floor plan allows you to see your guests as you are cooking, whether they are in the dining room, living room, or on the deck.

The lower level greatly expands the home with two additional bedrooms, a full bath, sauna, office, and media room. With floor to ceiling sliding doors you can walk right out to the garden and pool.

Past the pool you can relax on the bench by the brook with your morning coffee. Of course you can't do that in this weather. In this weather you can look at that space from the deck, watch the red tail hawks flying in and out of the trees, and dream of the warm days ahead....
