Among the Charges: DUI and Drug Possession

Arrests by West Hartford police between Feb. 2-5. The following information was supplied by the West Hartford Police Department and does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following arrests were made between Feb. 2 and Feb. 5, 2012, and are listed in reverse chronological order. Information was from the , 103 Raymond Road. Some charges may stem from multiple arrests; bond listed when available; arrests do not indicate convictions:

FEB. 2

MESSER, THOMAS SCOTT, 20, of 179 Beechwood Rd., West Hartford: Arrested at 110 Beechwood Rd.; charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana. Bond $1,000.

KEETON, CHARLES RAY, 38, of 41 Robin Rd., Apt. 302, West Hartford: Arrested at Milton St. and Dover Rd.; charged with failure to drive right and operating while under the influence. Bond $500.

SMEDICK-HALE, DEANNA, 26, of 8 Somers St., New London: Arrested at Park Road/Prospect Ave.; charged with illegal possession, possession of  drug paraphernalia and first-degree failure to appear. Combined bond $7,500.

Police said she was arrested for possession of narcotics and a felony warrant following a suspicious vehicle stop.

LANDRY, RAYMOND H., 24, of 59 Gaylord Farms Rd., Wallingford: Arrested at Park Road/Prospect Ave.; charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond $2,500.

BERRIOS, YOSUE, 31, of 200 Longvue Drive, Wethersfield: Arrested at 2534 Albany Ave.; charged with two counts, criminal violation of a protective order, threatening. Bond $20,000.

FEB.  3

MARTINEZ, DANNY A., 28, of 96 Woodlawn Street, West Hartford:
Arrested at New Britain Ave. and Westgate St.; charged with failure to drive in proper lane and operating while under the influence.

Police said he was stopped in the left-hand lane with the ignition in the forward position. The passenger of the motor vehicle kept getting in and out of the vehicle and the driver appeared to be hallucinating when approached. Police said the driver has a history of using PCP.

HABERLI, CHRISTINE ANN, 59, of 16 Dogwood Court, Cromwell: Arrested at 1500 New Britain Ave.; charged with first degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. Bond $2,500.

Police said she is said to have concealed a pair of jeans under her arm prior to exiting Macy’s without paying for the merchandise.

COLON-GONZALEZ, HUMBERTO, 36, of 17 Allen St., Hartford: Charged with sixth-degree larceny and second-degree failure to appear. Combined bond $4,000.

Police said he was caught shoplifting at CVS.

FEB. 4

WITHERSPOON, LARRY, 38, of 320 Farmington Ave., Hartford: Charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct. Bond $2,500.

Police said he was involved in a fight with his girlfriend.

FEB. 5

MARTIN, GREGORY S., 22, of 50 Steele Rd., New Hartford: Charged with
driving in the right-hand lane, operating while under the influence and
restricted turns failure to signal. Bond $500.

SANTANA, NOEL, 34, of 22 Wadsworth St., Manchester: Charged with failure to have lights  lit/devices illuminated and operating while under the influence. Bond $500.

SANTOS, GILBERTO, 20, of 11 Belridge St., Hartford: Arrested at South Main Street and I-84; turned over to another police department.

Police said he was arrested after a car stop on an active domestic violence arrest warrant.
