Among the Charges: Forgery and Failure to Appear

Police arrest log for July 25-31, 2011. The following arrest information was supplied by the West Hartford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

46 Kane Street: Keara Spruill, 19, 1262 Blue Hills Avenue, Bloomfield, was charged with conspiracy, second-degree forgery and sixth-degree larceny on July 25. Police said she was arrested for passing a fake check at ShopRite. Bond was set at $10,000.

479 Prospect Avenue, Hartford: Everett Frink, 20, 479 Prospect Avenue, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on July 26. Police said he was arrested on an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $2,500.

103 Raymond Road: Liban Dirir, 20, 169 West Ridge Drive, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction on July 26. Police said he turned himself in on an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $150.

West Hartford: Quincy R. Evans, 21, 232 Hillside Avenue, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on July 26. Police said he was taken into a custody on an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Jared Freeman, 27, 16 Memory Lane, Waterford, was charged with second-degree forgery and fifth-degree larceny on July 27. Bond was set at $1,000.

1420 Farmington Avenue: Gerald J. Blejewski, 50, 883 Plainville Avenue, Farmington, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny on July 27. Police said he was arrested for attempting to steal items from parked vehicles. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Giovanni Torres, 20, 117 Harbison Street, Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, third-degree larceny and using/tampering with a motor vehicle without permission on July 28. Bond was set at $25,000.

West Hartford: Javier Fontanez, 19, 23 Lockwood Terrace, was charged with third-degree hindering prosecution on July 28. Police said he was arrested after he picked up and drove a friend who was running from the police. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Jonathan Contrera, 18, 134 Douglas Street, Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer, third-degree larceny, using/tampering with a motor vehicle without permission and second-degree failure to appear on July 28. Police said he was arrested for his part in aiding to steal wheels off of a vehicle. During the investigation, it was discovered Contrera had an arrest warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $12,500.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Ann Marie Montague, 39, 167 Lennox Street, Bridgeport, was charged with second-degree forgery, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny on July 28. Police said she was arrested for shoplifting from Sephora and then provided two false names. Bond was set at $20,000.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Caroline Gean Macey, 37, 167 Lennox Street, Bridgeport, was charged with interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny on July 28. Police said she was arrested at Sephora for shoplifting $394.50 worth of merchandise. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Neal Christopher Hebb, 42, 60 Randal Avenue Apt. 139, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker and operating while under the influence on July 28. Bond was set at $10,000.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Brian R. Lyles, 25, 58 Evergreen Lane, Southington, was charged with conspiracy, failure to have tail lamps, illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating evidence on July 28. Police said Lyles was arrested for  possession of heroin and cocaine, following a motor vehicle stop. He hid several bags of heroin and cocaine which were later discovered following a strip search. Bond was set at $10,000.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Anthony J. Deleo, 25, 49 Amanda Lane, Southington, was charged with conspiracy, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 28. Police said he was arrested for conspiracy to possess narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $10,000.

433 New Park Avenue: Meighan Plourde, 23, 171 Beecher Street, Southington, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation on July 29. Police said she was found to be in possession of heroin during a motor vehicle stop. She also had an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $25,000.

433 New Park Avenue: Alexander Biedacha, 23, 500 Darling Street 12D, Southington, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 29. Police said he was the driver of a vehicle stopped for a broken windshield and narcotics were found inside the vehicle. Bond was set at $5,000.

40 Mohawk Drive: Brendan Houlihan, 27, 40 Mohawk Drive, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on July 30. Police said he was arrested for his involvement in a domestic dispute with his parents at their residence. Bond was set at $7,500.

Kane Street/Prospect Avenue: Jacqueline Foster, 53, 427 Garden Street Apt. 7, Hartford, was charged with failure to respond to an infraction on July 31. Police said she was arrested on a warrant after a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $301.

46 Kane Street: Bobby Robert Smith, 27, 104 Oakwood Avenue, was charged with second-degree forgery, illegal manufacture, distribution, sale, prescriptions, illegal possession of marijuana, interfering with an officer and violation of probation on July 31. Police said he lied to officers about his name, and it was later determined he had a warrant for violation of probation. Police also said he was found to be in possession of 30 "nickle" bags which contained marijuana. Bond was set at $75,000.
