Among the Charges: Possession of Heroin and DUI

Police arrest log for August 1-8, 2011.The following arrest information was supplied by the West Hartford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

West Hartford: Aldo Lisi, 41, 117 Wells Road Apt. 25, Wethersfield, was charged with one count of fifth-degree larceny on Aug. 1. Police said he was served at court on a valid West Hartford warrant for larceny. Bond was set at $5,000.

62 Boulanger Avenue: Francheska M. Terrero, 20, 62 Boulanger Avenue, was charged with failure to respond/infraction on August 1. Police said she was arrested on a valid warrant. Bond was set at $137.

West Hartford: Arthur J. Nunes, 49, 15 Craig Place, was charged with third-degree assault, disorderly conduct and second-degree strangulation on Aug. 1. Police said he was arrested after an altercation between him and his brother. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Ebony Moore, 34, 453 Barbour Street Apt. 3rd North, Hartford, was charged with violation of probation on Aug. 1. Police said she turned herself in on a warrant out of Waterbury. Bond was set at $20,000.

130 Kane Street: Bashar Al-Faraj, 23, 130 Kane Street Apt. C1, was charged with injury/risk/impairing morals of a child and second-degree sexual assault: consent, no force/threat on Aug. 2. Bond was set at $500,000.

103 Raymond Road: Joshua J. Pinnock, 47, 90 Kane Street Apt. C3, was charged with disorderly conduct and second-degree threatening on Aug. 2. Police said he was arrested for a domestic disturbance with his wife where he threatened to kill her. Bond was set at $5,000.

Kane Street/I-84 Ramp: Ricardo Serrano, 26, 147 Madison Avenue, Hartford, was turned over to another police department on Aug. 2. Police said during a motor vehicle stop, he was found to have an arrest warrant out of Hartford for violating a protective order. No bond was set.

161 South Main Street: Jonathan Leff, 47, 212 Pleasant Street, New Britain, was charged with having no insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and operating while under the influence on Aug. 3. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: David Perez, 27, 80 Vinehill Road, was charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on Aug. 2. Police said he was arrested after an argument at home resulting in a broken window. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Lisa A. Saucier, 41, 1163 Willard Avenue, Newington, was charged with evading responsibility and operating while under the influence on Aug. 3. Police said she struck a telephone poll and left the scene, but was later located at dead end of Randall Avenue. Bond was set at $2,500.

987 West Boulevard:: Robert Griswold, 47, 355 Chestnut Street, Windsor Locks, was turned over to another police department on Aug. 3. Police said he was taken into custody on an active Hartford police warrant. No bond was set.

103 Raymond Road: Mary M. McFadden, 61, 77 Tumble Brook Lane, was charged with second-degree harassment and misuse of 9-1-1 system on Aug. 4. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Joshua Newton, 25, 180 Sunnydale Avenue, Bristol, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 4. Police said he was arrested for possession of heroin. Bond was set at $2,500.

North Main Street/Clifford Lane: Jared. D. Romaniello, 23, 39 Adams Street, Winsted, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree violation of conditions of release and windshield-defective wipers on Aug. 4. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, he was arrested for possession of heroin. Bond was set at $3,000.

North Main Street/Craigmoor Road: Christian Maritrano, 22,  107 Washington Ridge Road, New Milford, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 4. Police said he was arrested for possession of heroin. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Connor Lent, 20, 12 Partridge, Sherman, was charged with illegal possession on Aug. 4. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Justin Kotowski, 22, 77 Marion Avenue, Torrington, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on Aug. 4. Bond was set at $2,500.

18 Kane Street: Ricardo A. Campbell, 26, 62 Mark Twain Drive Apt. B2, Hartford, was charged with violation of probation on Aug. 4. Police said he was observed exiting his vehicle in the Kane Street Plaza and was found to have a warrant from a firearms case in Hartford. Bond was set at $20,000.

West Hartford: David Beaulieu, 43, 9 Eldridge Street, Manchester, was charged with windshield-obstructing view, illegal tinted glass, possession of drug paraphernalia and illegal possession on Aug. 5. Police said he was arrested during a traffic stop and several bags of crack cocaine residue, an empty heroin bag, metal spoon, two snorting straws and a crack pipe were recovered from the vehicle. Bond was set at $25,000.

76 Shepard Road: Matthew M. Wittig, 48, address listed as homeless, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief and second-degree larceny on Aug. 5. Police said he was arrested for breaking into a home. Bond was set at $50,000.

986 Farmington Avenue: Lawrence Tilghman, 42, 98 David Drive, Middletown, was charged with interfering with an officer and second-degree breach of peace on Aug. 6. Police said he was arrested after he created a disturbance stemming from a disagreement with a bouncer at the Elbow Room. Bond was set at $7,500.

155 South Main Street: Peter A. Cermola, 36, 38 Trumbull Avenue, Plainville, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, operating while under the influence and restricted turns failure to signal on Aug. 6. Police said he was stopped after being observed making several motor vehicle violations. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: William Thomas, 20, 11 Beryl Court, Brewster, NY, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and second-degree breach of peace on Aug. 6. Police said he was arrested following an incident where he attempted to enter a residence he believed to be a friend's house. He was intoxicated and at the wrong house, said police, which startled the residents into thinking he was trying to break in. Bond was set at $1,000.

837 Prospect Avenue, Hartford: Shaun Biggers, 48, 837 Prospect Avenue, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Aug. 6. Police said he was arrested on a warrant. Bond was set at $2,000.

971 Farmington Avenue: Kevin Pell, 32, 23 Stafford Road, Somers, was charged with interfering with an officer and second-degree breach of peace on Aug. 7. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Joseph Giasullo, 22, 156 Elmfield Street, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Aug. 7. Police said he was arrested on a warrant. Bond was set at $2,500.
