Cops: CT Mom Left Her 4-Year-old Home Alone Overnight

The little girl was found outside crying by a neighbor.

A Connecticut mother has been arrested for allegedly leaving her four-year-old home alone overnight while she went out, police said, according to NBC Connecticut. 

Konisha Woodard, of Hartford, went to New Haven Friday night and left her 4-year-old home alone. A neighbor found the child outside crying and told her that she was hungry, NBC reports. 

The little girl also said this wasn’t the first time its happened. Woodard was charged with risk of injury to a child and first-degree reckless endangerment.

The state Department of Children and Families was notified of the incident.
