Drug and Shoplifting Charges Fill Weekly Docket

Arrest log for Feb. 28-March 6

Kane Street: Alexander Lukenberg, 35, 50 East Hill Road, Canton, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Police said he shoplifted at ShopRite. Bond was set at $500.

 101 Lafayette Street: Brian Velez, 22, 44 Levesque Avenue, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal mischief, and fourth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Police said he was served an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $50,000.

 983 New Britain Avenue: Edgar Montalvo, 48, 352 Burrit Street, New Britain, was charged with operating with reg/lic/suspended/revoked, operating while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and traveling too fast for conditions on Feb. 28. Police said he rear-ended another vehicle and admitted to having used heroin prior to the accident. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Nathaniel McCoy, 49, 212 Martin Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Police said he shoplifted from the Big Y Supermarket. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Thomas Lamb, 26, 908 Main Street, Glastonbury, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Bond was set at $2,500.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Emily Sarra Kopowski, 25, 831D Long Hill Road, Middletown, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Police said she shoplifted jewelry from Macy’s. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Shane Anane, 18, 6 Dover Street, Hartford, was charged with five counts of second-degree forgery, interfering with an officer and sixth-degree larceny on Feb. 28. Bond was set at $5,000.

103 Raymond Road: Michael Richard, 34, 32 Leverich Drive, East Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on Feb. 28. Police said he turned himself in on a valid arrant. Bond was set at $10,000.

West Hartford: Herman Kirt Alexander, 46, 330 Laurel Street, Apt. 307, Hartford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on March 1. Bond was set at $3,000.

West Hartford: Jeffrey Rodriguez, 26, 24 Steven Street, Apt. D, was charged with first-degree failure to appear on March 1. Police said the original arrest was a domestic violence incident in Wethersfield. 

101 Lafayette Street: Javier Rodriguez, 22, Church Street, East Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and fifth-degree larceny on March 1. Bond was set at $5,000.

 West Hartford: Nicole Brown, 22, 837 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and sixth-degree larceny on March 1. Police said she shoplifted at Macy’s. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Steven Cianfarani, 49, 106 Rowe Avenue, Hartford, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and second-degree failure to appear on March 1. Bond was set at $5,150.

West Hartford: Everett Frink, 20, 479 Prospect Avenue, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 2. Bond was set at $1,500.

133 Vanderbilt Avenue: Ashley C. Walker, 25, 87 Burke Street, East Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer and illegal possession on March 2. Bond was set at $1,000.

133 Vanderbilt Avenue: Eladia Vazquez, 30, 169 Center Street, Manchester, was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an officer and second-degree failure to appear on March 2. Bond was set at $2,000.

West Hartford: Anthony Buccheri, 27, 50 East Hill Road, Canton, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, tampering with evidence or fabricating on March 2. Bond was set at $2,000.

Mountain Road/Westmont Road: Robert Reynolds, 22, 57 ½ Montgomery Street, Westfield, MA, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal mischief on March 2. Police said he was involved in a domestic violence incident. Bond was set at $7,500.

103 Raymond Road: Paul D’Lubac, 23, 55 Trumbull Street Apt. 302, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 2. Police said he shoplifted from ShopRite. Bond was set at $1,000.

Kane Street/Prospect Avenue: Christopher Tropasso, 23, 5 South Ridge Road, Farmington, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 2. Bond was set at $1,500.

101 Lafayette Street: Eddie Monroig-Rosario, 31, 760 Worthington Street, Springfield, MA, was charged with third-degree burglary and sixth-degree larceny on March 2. Bond was set at $80,000.

West Hartford: Bing Zheng, 21, 488 Prospect Avenue, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. Police said after a motor vehicle stop, he was found to be in possession of heroin. Bond was set at $3,000.

 I-84 West/Exit 39A: Brian Gills, 27, 44 Cope Farms Road, Farmington, was charged with failure to drive right, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. After a motor vehicle stop, police said, Gills was found to be in possession of heroin. He was also charged with illegal possession and second-degree violation of conditional release on March 5. Bond was set at $23,000.

 West Hartford: Luis Emannuelle Colon, 23, 31 Ellis Street, New Britain, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. Bond was set at $1,000.

Trout Brook Drive/Boulevard: David Kulas, 32, 196 Smith Street Apt. 3, New Britain, was charged with failure to obey control signal, two counts of illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. Police said after a motor vehicle stop, he was found to be in possession of heroin and crack cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.

29 Kane Street: Ismail Diaz, 28, 11 Bates Street, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 3. Police said he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.

415 Prospect Avenue: Ilham Ozbay, 38, 415 Prospect Avenue, Apt. A2, was charged with disorderly conduct on March 3. Police said he was involved in a domestic dispute. Bond was not set.

415 Prospect Avenue: Elif Kahyaoglu, 26, 415 Prospect Avenue, Apt. A2, was charged with disorderly conduct on March 3. Police said she was involved in a domestic dispute. Bond was set at $1,000.

103 Raymond Road: Justin Thomas Cheney, 23, 18 Crescent Street, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on March 4. Police said he turned himself in on a warrant. Bond was set at $1,000.

1445 New Britain Avenue: Carlos J. Diaz-Reyes, 35, 22 Elliot Street, Apt.118, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 4. Police said he had taken items from Sears and concealed them. No bond was set.

I-84 West/Exit 39A: Brett S. Houlihan, 48, 22 Summit Street, Bristol, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession, operating with reg/lic/suspended/revoked, operating while under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and reckless driving on March 4. Bond was set at $7,500.

West Hartford: Todd Silverman, 26, 80 Country Lane U22, Vernon, was charged with operating under the influence on March 5. Bond was set at $500.

Flatbush Avenue/New Park Avenue: Rayon Samuels, 25, 33 Mountain Street, Hartford, was charged with failure to obey control signal, operating with reg/lic/suspended/revoked, weapons in motor vehicle and second-degree failure to appear on March 5. Police said he was found to be in possession of a four-inch long knife. Bond was set at $3,000.

103 Raymond Road: David Kagan, 29, 9 King Arthur’s Way, Apt. A2, Newington, was charged with third-degree assault and second-degree breach of peace on March 5. Police said he was involved in a bar fight. Bond was set at $2,500.

I-84 West/Exit 39A: Zackary Boswell, 24, 2 Horseshoe Lane, Farmington, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a handheld mobile phone, illegal possession and weapons in a motor vehicle on March 5. Bond was set at $25,000.

West Hartford: George W. Rooney, 57, 87 Shadow Lane B1, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny on March 5. Bond was set at $5,000.

2550 Albany Avenue: David Letalien, 24, 33 Concord Street, Bristol, was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, illegal possession of marijuana and second-degree violation of conditional release on March 5.  Bond was set at $15,000.

2550 Albany Avenue: Jakob Bardales, 20, 7 Andrews Street, Bristol, was charged with two counts of illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 5. No bond was set.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Jose G. Torres, 18, 132 Vera Street, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on March 5. Police said he was caught smoking marijuana at the bus stop at Westfarms Mall. Bond was set at $1,000.

163 Main Street, Farmington: Mario P. Cipolla, 40, 23 Middlefield Drive, West Hartford, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on March 6. Bond was set at $1,500.

971 Farmington Avenue: Justin James Minella, 23, 56 Delmar Drive, Bristol, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer on March 6. Police said he was intoxicated, caused a disturbance and interfered with an officer following a fall behind Barcelona Restaurant. Bond was set at $1,500.
