Drug Possession, Domestic Disturbances Among Charges This Week

Police arrest log for May 9-15, 2011

Fern Street: Aryeh Reuven Cohn, 20, 87 Mohawk Drive, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of alcohol by a minor on May 9. Police said he was found to be in possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,000.

495 Flatbush Avenue, Hartford: Tomas G. Foley, 21, 284 North Main Street, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on May 10. Police said Foley was a passenger in a suspicious vehicle and was arrested for possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $2,500.

495 Flatbush Avenue, Hartford: Gabriella H. DiPietro, 20, 803 Dzen Way, South Windsor, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, restricted turns fail signal and tampering with or fabricating evidence on May 10. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, she was arrested for possession of narcotics and tampering with evidence. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Jorge R. Guzman, 29, 78 Abbotsford Avenue, was charged with violation of probation on May 11. Police said he was arrested for a violation of probation warrant stemming form an original narcotics charge. The violation occurred after Guzman engaged police in pursuit after a shooting investigation in the city of Hartford on April 9, according to police.

Prospect Avenue/New Park Avenue: Jason W. Lipshez, 24, 4 Circle Drive, Unionville, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 11. Police said he was a passenger in a motor vehicle and found to have heroin and needles concealed. Bond was set at $2,500.

Prospect Avenue/New Park Avenue: Nicholas S. Francis, 23, 23 West Side Boulevard, Burlington, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 11. Police said he was a passenger in a motor vehicle and found to have ten bags of heroin and needles on his person. Bond was set at $2,500.

Prospect Avenue/New Park Avenue: Nicole M. Bell, 23, 56 Paul Spring Road, Farmington, was charged with illegal possession, operating a motor vehicle other than a motorcycle without license, first offense, possession of drug paraphernalia and restricted turns fail signal on May 11. Police said Bell was stopped for motor vehicle violations and was found to possess cocaine and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500.

103 Raymond Road: Dominic J. Sapere, 42, 54 Edgemere Avenue, was charged with five counts of first-degree forgery and third-degree larceny on May 11. Police said he was arrested after turning himself in on a valid arrest warrant. Bond was set at $10,000.

Park Road/Prospect Avenue: Dejan Maric, 20, 30 Boulanger Avenue, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and illegible plate on May 12. Police said he was arrested when he was found to be in possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,000.

281 North Main Street: Alexander T. Dyson, 18, 43 Highland Street, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on May 12. Bond was set at $2,500. He was also charged with first-degree criminal trespass on May 15. Police said he was arrested after he was found in the barn at his father’s house. He had been warned on May 12 not to return. Bond was set at $5,000.

I-84/Kane Street: Robert J. Taylor, 37, 180 Ellis Street, New Britain, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and unnecessary noise on May 12. Police said he was stopped for a motor vehicle violation and was found to be in possession of crack and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Aleksandr Makhmudov, 38, 1433 Willard Avenue, Newington, was charged with evading responsibility, failure to drive right, operating while under the influence and second-degree threatening on May 12. Police said he was operating a vehicle erratically and an onlooker called police. Before police arrived, he crashed into several vehicles and a garage. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Samuel DeJesus, 34, 311 Slater Road, New Britain, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 12. Police said he was arrested during a motor vehicle stop while in possession of two small bags of marijuana and three cigarillos. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Brian A. Molyneaux, 26, 92 Pheasant Hill Drive, was charged with failure to drive right and operating while under the influence on May 13. Police said he was arrested following a motor vehicle accident. Bond was set at $500.

92 Forster Street, Hartford: David D. Ortiz, 20, 92 Forster Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, driving with intent to harass, reckless driving and second-degree reckless endangerment on May 14. Police said he was involved in a domestic incident with an ex-girlfriend. Bond was set at $50,000.

West Hartford: Juquana Little, 22, 153 Enfield Street, Hartford, was charged with credit card theft and sixth-degree larceny on May 14. Police said she stole a wallet out of the ladies dressing room at Macy’s. Bond was set at $10,000.

West Hartford: Ronald Wilcox, 44, 187 Whitney Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 15. Bond was set at $10,000.

117 Hillcrest Avenue: Crystal Bell, 30, 117 Hillcrest Avenue Apt. H, was charged with disorderly conduct and first-degree reckless endangerment on May 15. Police said she was arrested following a domestic violence incident at her residence. Bond was set at $2,000.

50 Layton Street: John A. Ruiz, 40, 132 Mark Twain Drive, Hartford, was charged with disorderly conduct and possession of drug paraphernalia on May 15. Police said he was involved in a domestic disturbance at 50 Layton Street. Bond was set at $5,000.
