Early Morning Fire at First Emmanuel Assembly of God

One person evacuated, but damage limited to building's exterior, according to West Hartford Fire Department reports.

A fire occurred early this morning at , at 119 Park Road, according to the .

The fire department is reporting that the fire was called in at 3:25 a.m. by a neighbor who observed it from next door.

According to the fire department, their first units arrived at 3:29 a.m. and found a fire at the rear of the building, caused by a light fixture which overheated combustible exterior siding.

The fire department reports that the fire was declared under control at 3:54 a.m.

One person was evacuated from an apartment in the building, but damage was limited to the exterior of the structure, according to the fire department.

All units left the scene at 5:19 a.m.
