Larceny, Disorderly Conduct, DUI Among the Charges

Police arrest log for April 11-17, 2011

Boulanger Avenue/Prospect Avenue:  Karlo Magno, 28, 1462 Meriden Road Unit 11, Waterbury, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and driving while under the influence on April 11. Bond was set at $1,000.

Hartford: Edgar A. Rivera, 41, 72 Folly Brook Boulevard, Apt. 4, Wethersfield, was charged with three counts of first-degree criminal trespass and three counts of sixth-degree larceny on April 11. Police said Rivera had two active West Hartford Police Department arrest warrants. Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Ciara Massey, 18, 1085 Boulevard, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on April 11. Police said she fought with another student on the school bus. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: Alexander Rowland, 27, 180 Nilan Street, Hartford, was charged with failure to wear a seat belt, illegal possession of marijuana and windshield-obstructing view on April 11. Bond was set at $2,500.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Julian M. Odum, 58, 711 Garden Street, Apt. A6, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 11. Police said he concealed a bottle of cologne and walked out of Sephora. Bond was set at $5,000.

46 Kane Street: Luis Crespo, 30, 50 High Street, Apt. 323, New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 11. Police said he shoplifted at ShopRite. Bond was set at $5,000.

Prospect Avenue/New Park Avenue: Charles Kowalski, 29, 64 Fanway Avenue, Bristol, was charged with failure to renew registration, possession of drug paraphernalia and weapons in a motor vehicle on April 11. Bond was set at $5,000.

46 Huntington Street, Hartford: Alberto Rivera, 22, 46 Huntington Street, Apt. 3B, Hartford, was charged with first-degree and second-degree failure to appear on April 11. Bond was set at $40,000.

200 Bloomfield Avenue: Julian Lentini, 19, 44 Derby Street, Concord, MA, was charged with second-degree assault, second degree-breach of peace and second-degree forgery on April 11. Police said he was involved in a physical altercation in which he used a lacrosse stick to assault two parties and was also found to be in possession of a fake PA license. Bond was set at $10,000.

674 Farmington Avenue: James R. Nadeau, 45, 4 Concord Street, Apt. A2, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal trespass on April 11. Bond was set at $2,500.

Prospect Avenue/I-84: Paul Carter, 19, 2770 Boston Tpke., Coventry, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia on April 11. No bond was set.

Prospect Avenue/I-84: Cristofer Belekewicz, 19, 20 Forge Road, Coventry, was charged with failure to have tail lamps and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 11. Bond was set at $1,500.

New Britain Avenue/Hillcrest Avenue: Edward Clemonts, 39, 100 Stone Gate Road, New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 12. Police said Clemonts was observed walking with numerous Red Bull cans in his hands and had a large bulge in the front of his sweatshirt. According to police, an investigation revealed that he took 23 cans of Red Bull from CVS and had a crack pipe. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Thong A. Tran, 49, 58 Woodbridge Avenue, East Hartford, was charged with failure to respond/infraction on April 12. Police said he was stopped for motor vehicle violations and was found to have a warrant. Bond was set at $75.

West Hartford: Mark Thompson, 33, 64 Ellington Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 12. Police said he was stopped for motor vehicle violations and found to have multiple warrants. Bond was set at $500.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Phuong T. Nguyen, 44, 3 Pine Drive, Windsor Locks, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny on April 12. Police said he was taken into custody following a shoplifting complaint at Macy’s. Bond was set at $1,500.

Kane Street/I-84: Victor Diaz, 30, 24 Vega Street, New Britain, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 12. According to police, Diaz was a passenger in a motor vehicle and was found to have a warrant for failure to appear. Police said his original arrest was out of Woodbridge for motor vehicle charges. Bond was set at $2,500.

660 Flatbush Avenue: Felix Sierra, 21, 660 Flatbush Avenue, was charged with violation of probation on April 12. Bond was set at $20,000.

1359 Boulevard: Ernest L. Hamrick, 20, 1359 Boulevard Apt. 2, was charged with injury/risk/impairing morals of a child and possession of child pornography on April 12. Police said he was taken into custody on the strength of arrest warrants after he failed to turn himself in. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Kevin N. Karbownik, 26, 16 Penfield Avenue, East Berlin, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and windshield-obstructing view on April 13. Bond was set at $5,000.

46 Kane Street: Rosana F. Muraca, 62, 66 Avery Heights, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 13. Police said she was arrested after an incident that occurred at ShopRite. Bond was set at $500.

1066 Capitol Avenue, Hartford: Pablo A. Serrano, 19, 1066 Capitol Avenue, Hartford, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, threatening, on April 13. Police said he violated a criminal protective order by contacting his daughter’s mother. Bond was set at $50,000.

Flatbush Avenue/I-84: Nicholas Tarpinian, 21, 528 Route 87, Columbia, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, failure to keep drug in original container and illegal possession on April 13. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, he was found to be in possession of suboxone. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Megan F. Masters, 26, 6 South Circle, Beacon Falls, was charged with violation of probation on April 13. Police said she was arrested for violating her probation and was extradited from Las Vegas. Bond was set at $30,000.

75 Mountain Road: James E. Blount, 26, 25 Mountain Road, was charged with failure to drive right and operating while under the influence on April 14. Police said while under the influence of alcohol, he struck a guard rail on Mountain Road. Bond was set at $2,500.

18 Rockville Street, Hartford: Walter Bonner III, 31, 239 Enfield Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and participation to extort on April 14. Police said he was arrested after selling a stolen cell phone back to its rightful owner. Bond was set at $1,000.

54 Ledgewood Road: Patrick C. Gagnon, 30, 54 Ledgewood Road, was charged with disorderly conduct, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 14. Police said he was involved in a domestic incident with his sister. Bond was set at $1,000.

54 Ledgewood Road: Courtney B. Gagnon, 34, 1 Oak Street, Stormville, NY, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 14. Police said she was involved in a domestic incident with her brother. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: Janser Baez, 22, 253 White Street, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on April 14. Police said he was found to be in possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,500.

117 Woodlawn Street: Haizhen Huang, 34, 117 Woodlawn Street, was charged with injury/risk/impairing morals of a child on April 14. Police said she was arrested after her seven-year-old son was discovered home alone. No bond was set.

 117 Woodlawn Street: Minqiang Chen, 34, 117 Woodlawn Street, was charged with injury/risk/impairing morals of a child on April 14. Police said he was taken into custody with his wife for risk of injury to a minor after a missing child complaint. Bond was set at $5,000.

Albany Avenue/North Main Street: Shawn A. St. Germain, 38, 144 Raymond Hill Road, Norwich, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 14. Police said he was observed slumped over in the McDonald’s parking lot and was discovered to have a needle, empty heroin bags and marijuana. Bond was set at $2,500.

103 Raymond Road: Holeen A. Condell, 30, 55 Hamilton Road, East Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 15. Bond was set at $2,000.

 West Hartford: Danielle E. Miller, 18, 5 Cliffmore Road, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 15. Police said she was arrested on a warrant for domestic violence. No bond was set.

 1445 New Britain Avenue: Guthrie U. Anikienko, 38, 41 Niles Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 15. Police said he was arrested after shoplifting jeans and cologne worth $201 from Sear’s. Bond was set at $1,000.

26 Fishfry Street, Hartford: Daniel Patterson, 56, 175 Collins Street Apt. A1, Hartford, was charged with fifth-degree larceny and simple trespass on April 15. Police said he was arrested for stealing scrap metal. Bond was set at $5,000.

26 Fishfry Street, Hartford: George Stephens, 67, 121 Hungerford Street, Hartford, was charged with fifth-degree larceny and simple trespass on April 15. Police said he was arrested for stealing scrap metal. Bond was set at $5,000.

 26 Fishfry Street, Hartford: Richard Todd, 49, 30 High Court, East Hartford, was charged with fifth-degree larceny and simple trespass on April 15. Police said he was arrested for stealing scrap metal. Bond was set at $5,000.

Prospect Avenue/New Park Avenue: Steven Nenadal, 33, 10 Lea Lane, New Milford, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 15. Bond was set at $5,000.

 139 North Main Street: Raychan D. Rivera, 19, 777 Watertown Road, Waterbury, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct on April 15. Police said he was arrested following an incident at the American School for the Deaf. Bond was set at $7,500.

Sunny Reach Drive: Howard G. Rifkin, 60, 144 Sunny Reach Drive, was charged with operating while under the influence on April 15. Police said they were called to the scene of an accident where he hit a parked car and was found to be intoxicated. Bond was set at $500.

20 Southwood Drive: Katherine Martinez, 22, 378 South Main Street, New Britain, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and threatening on April 15. Police said she was charged in connection with a domestic violence incident. Bond was set at $1,500.

 Fern Street/Cobbs Road: Samuel J. Farrell, 19, 51 Westland Avenue, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 15. Police said he was arrested following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,500.

577 Prospect Avenue, Hartford: Taylor Riley, 23, 31 Deerfield Lane, Simsbury, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 15. Police said he got into an argument with his girlfriend. Bond was set at $5,000.

155 South Main Street: Corrina Kerr, 35, 56 High Street, Middletown, was charged with failure to drive right and operating while under the influence on April 16. Police said she was arrested for DUI after a traffic accident that occurred at 155 South Main Street. Bond was set at $500.

 West Hartford: Gregory R. Leonard, 38, 64 Secret Lake Road, Canton, was charged with operating while under the influence and unsafe movement/stopped car on April 16. Bond was set at $500.

 New Park Avenue/Merrill Street, Hartford: Andre L. Ashley, 21, 81 Palm Street, Hartford, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, illegal possession of marijuana, no insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on April 16. Bond was set at $1,500.

50 Foley Street: Peter McGowan, 36, 5 Clearview Avenue, was charged with driving wrong way/one way and operating while under the influence on April 16. Police said he was driving the wrong way down a one-way road and was arrested for DUI following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: Rodrigo Zambrano-Fuentes, 38, 62 Wharton Brook Drive, Wallingford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 16. Police said he was shoplifting at the Gap. Bond was set at $500.

Prospect Avenue/Levesque Avenue: Nichelle Faust, 28, 126 Silver Lane, Apt. 1, East Hartford, was found to have an arrest warrant out of the Windsor Police Department for breach of peace and was turned over to Windsor police department on April 16. No bond was set.

43 South Highland Street: Patrick A. Newark, 21, 51115 240th Street, Elmont, NY, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on April 16. Police said he was arrested subsequent to a disturbance call. Bond was set at $1,500.

West Hartford: Carmelo Santiago, 38, 1660 Main Street, Apt. 28, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 17. Police said he shoplifted at Macy’s. Bond was set at $500.

New Park Avenue/Prospect Avenue: Brandon Pirruccio, 25, 71 North Pearl Street, Meriden, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 17. Police said he was a passenger in a motor vehicle and was found to be in possession of heroin. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Brinetta D. Campbell, 28, 108 Merline Avenue, was charged with two counts of breach of peace, injury/risk/impairing morals of a child and threatening on April 17. Police said she was arrested following a domestic disturbance. Bond was set at $5,000.
