A 21-year-old Hartford woman and a 36-year-old Glastonbury man were arrested Friday night on prostitution charges.
West Hartford Police said the arrests were made following a traffic stop at about 5:30 p.m. on May 23. During the traffic stop, police said the woman told an officer that she had just had sex with the man for money, and that they were on their way to an ATM so he could pay her.
During the stop, the officer also observed drug paraphernalia, police said.
The woman, Kelly Gentilcore, was charged with prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $5,000 and she was due in court May 28.
The man, Amaro Perez, was charged with patronizing a prostitute and failure to wear a seatbealt. His bond was set at $2,500 and he was due in court May 28.
