“The person hasn’t been taken, it’s more of a runaway situation," Walsh said. "It fits the criteria because she (Rock) hasn’t taken her medication."

Rock doesn't have her medication with her and needs it, Walsh said. Police could not release the type of medication for privacy reasons.

The last indication that police have of her whereabouts was that she used her ATM card in West Hartford around 3:28 a.m. on Dec. 29. Police investigated whether she took a bus to get to family but determined this was not the case.

Rock, a white female, is about 5' 3" and weights 210 pounds. Police said she has blue eyes, a light complexion and short, red or auburn hair. She might be wearing a black jacket and black/white boots and carrying a green duffel bag, police said.

Avon police are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the department at the routine police dispatch number, 860-409-4200.
