This year's ceremony, held on Sunday morning, was attended by members of Patricks Family, and also by the family of  MPO (Motor Pump Operator) Greg Spak, who passed away due to illness in 2007. Both of their names are on the firefighters memorial in front of Station#2 on Brace Road.

The service begins with the posting of the colors by the WHFD Honor Guard, and was followed by remarks from Lt. Joseph Robidoux, vice president of Local 1241.
