Police: 3 Teens Arrested for Stealing Skittles

A security guard reportedly caught them in a building on Bloomfield Avenue in West Hartford.

An 18-year-old East Hartford resident and two juveniles were arrested on burglary and larceny charges for allegedly trying to steal Skittles from a West Hartford business.

According to West Hartford Police, a security guard found the three in the building at 200 Bloomfield Ave., at about 11:30 p.m. on May 3. They were stealing Skittles, police said. 

All three, including Antione Kerr, were charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny, and conspiracy to commit both. The juveniles' names were not released.

Kerr's bond was set at $2,500. He is scheduled to appear in court on May 15.
