Police Assign New Beat Officer to West Hartford Center
Transition will take effect on July 21.
The West Hartford Police Department announced Thursday that a new beat officer has been assigned to West Hartford Center effective Sunday, July 21.
Off. Nicholas Sachetti, a four-year member of the department, will replace Off. William Norton who was recently promoted to detective. Sachetti will work alongside Off. Brian Gallagher in the West Hartford Center/Blue Back Square area.
According to a news release, Sachetti "has a strong interest in working with the community which dates back prior to working with the department when he was a volunteer with the CL&P Winter Special Olympics with the winter cross country skiing event."
