Police Make Arrests for Drugs, DUI and Breach of Peace

Police arrest log for July 18--23, 2011. The following arrest information was supplied by the West Hartford Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

46 Kane Street: Taylor Love, 19, 118 Harbison Avenue, Hartford,
was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, threatening on July 18. Police said she was arrested when she was found to have a no contact protective order from Jordan James. Bond was set at $50,000.

46 Kane Street: Jordan L. James 22, 27 Crosby Street, was charged with criminal violation of a protective order, threatening on July 18. Police said he was arrested when he was found to have a no contact protective order from Taylor Love. Bond was set at $50,000.

342 North Main Street: Clement Ezete, 37, 330 Chapman Street, New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a 9-1-1 call on July 18. Police said he was arrested after a domestic disturbance with his wife during which he poked his wife in the face and grabbed her cell phone from her while she was calling 9-1-1. He threw the phone down and damaged it. Bond was set at $1,000.

1037 Boulevard: Jason Messina, 23, 401 W. River Road, Riverton, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 18. Police said he was seen using heroin and was found to be in possession of 33 bags of heroin. Bond was set at $5,000.

1037 Boulevard:Nathan Montgomery, 23, 802 Boundline Road, Wolcott, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 18. Police said he was found to be in possession of heroin in Sam’s Food lot on Boulevard.

26 Westgate Street: Rayon Samuels, 25, 33 Mountain Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, interfering with an officer and simple trespass on July 18. Police said when they arrived at a property following a complaint, Samuels was on that property looking into a vehicle, he took off running, and during the foot chase, he damaged two fences. Bond was set at $10,000.

West Hartford: Gennifer C. Reddick, 36, 308 Park Terrace Apt. A-1, Hartford, was charged with interfering with an officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, weapons in motor vehicle, and first-degree and second-degree failure to appear on July 18. Police said she was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia and a knife larger than four inches and had two warrants. Bond was set at $8,000.

Kane Street: Victoria Wilson-Massiah, 56, 1008 Capital Avenue Apt. 3A, Hartford, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on July 18. Police said she was in possession of crack cocaine. Bond was set at $5,000.

103 Raymond Road: Jeffery S. Johnson, 48, 138 Robin Road, was charged with two counts of second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening on July 19. Police said he turned himself in on an outstanding warrant. Bond was set at $2,500.

10 Rockwell Place: Kevin W. Lynch, 44, 6 Hallview Drive, Simsbury, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass on July 19.  Police said he was arrested after he went back to his parents’ house after being told he is no longer allowed on their property. Bond was set at $5,000. On July 22, he was charged with first-degree criminal trespass and sixth-degree larceny. Police said he was arrested for returning to 10 Rockwell Place numerous times after being warned if he returned he would be subject to arrest. Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Michael W. Southworth, 31, 1261 Washington Street, Middletown, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to obey control signal and operating while under the influence on July 19. Bond was set at $500.

Loomis Drive/North Main Street: Syed M. Bokhari, 20, 314 Old Farms, Middletown, was charged with failure to drive in the proper lane, failure to obey control signal and operating while under the influence on July 19. Bond was set at $500.

103 Raymond Road: Jose Felix, 31, 437 Sheldon Street, Hartford, was turned over to another police department on July 20. Police said he turned himself in on an escape warrant. No bond was set.

West Hartford: David Mark Wolsard, 27, 197 Hart Street, Southington, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation on July 20. Police said he was stopped for misuse of registration and found to be in possession of heroin, paraphernalia and a warrant. Bond was set at $17,500.

West Hartford: Patrick J. Brennan, 24, 53 Alder Lane, Southington, was charged with illegal possession on July 20. Police said he was a  passenger in a motor vehicle which was stopped and was found to be in possession of heroin. Bond was set at $1,500.

46 Kane Street: Thexibeth Gonzalez, 21, 16 Baldwin Street, Hartford, was charged with injury/risk/impairing the morals of a minor and one count of sixth-degree larceny on July 20. Police said she was arrested for shoplifting and impairing the morals of a child following a shoplifting incident. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Gilbert Gray, 47, 25 Buell Street Apt. 1, New Britain, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on July 21. Police  said he turned himself in to the police department on an active arrest  warrant for a breach of peace incident at Westfarms Mall, where police said he was trying to sell pornographic DVDs. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Khalid C. Williams, 27, 4 Latimer Lane, Bloomfield, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana, illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and speeding on July 21. Bond was  set at $5,000.

New Park Avenue/Flatbush Avenue: Desmond Batts, 34, 443 Washington Street Apt. C1, Hartford,was turned over to another police department on July 22. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, he was found to have a valid arrest warrant out of the Hartford Police Department. No bond was set.

103 Raymond Road: Karina A. Reed, 26, 26 Stevens Street Apt. C, was charged with disorderly conduct on July 22. Police said she turned herself in on a warrant related to domestic violence. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Chelsea Lozier, 25, 4 Thompson Court, Vernon, was charged with operating while under the influence on July 23. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Geoffrey A. Sypher, 29, 128 Edgemont Avenue, was charged with third-degree burglary, failure to assist a police officer and fourth-degree larceny on July 23. Police said he turned himself in on an active warrant stemming from the theft of a laptop and iPod from a vehicle parked at Dalys Package Store. No bond was set.

2536 Albany Avenue: Lucio Ortiz, 30, 116 Fort Pleasant Avenue Apt. 1C, Springfield, MA, was charged with three counts of injury/risk/impairing morals of a minor and three counts of leaving a child unattended in a public place on July 23. Police said he was arrested for leaving his children (ages 2, 7 and 9) unattended in a motor vehicle at a shopping plaza. Bond was set at $10,000.

2536 Albany Avenue: Dora Gonzalez, 28, 116 Fort Pleasant Avenue Apt. 1C, Springfield,  MA, was charged with three counts of injury/risk/impairing morals of a minor and three counts of leaving a
child unattended in a public place on July 23. Police said she was arrested for leaving her children (ages 2, 7 and 9) alone in a motor vehicle at a shopping plaza. Bond was set at $20,000.

103 Raymond Road: Joshua Canulla, 20, 30 Stedman Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on July 23. Police said he turned himself in on a domestic violence warrant. No bond was set.
