[UPDATED]: School Bus and Car Collide in West Hartford

Accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of South Main Street and Sedgwick Road.

A West Hartford First Student Bus and a Honda CRV were involved in a collision at the intersection of Sedgwick Road and South Main Street on Monday morning. According to Lt. Brancoforte of the , the accident was reported at 8:58 a.m.

Three individuals, including the driver of the CRV, were taken to Hartford Hospital for evaluation, police said. All of the injuries were "very minor" according to police.

In addition to the driver, the bus was occupied by two teenaged students.

ORIGINAL STORY:

An accident between a small First Student school bus and an SUV occurred just after 9 a.m. this morning at the intersection of Sedgwick Road and South Main Street.

According to police, there were minor injuries.

Police and fire personnel were on the scene investigating.
