Shoplifting at Sears, Macy's, Big Y and ShopRite Among the Charges

Arrest log for March 21-28

103 Raymond Road: Jennifer Penetra, 33, 232 South Quaker Lane, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on March 21. Bond was set at $4,000.

120 Bonner Street, Hartford: Michelle L. White, 22, 120 Bonner Street, Hartford, was charged with first-degree criminal mischief on March 21. Bond was set at $5,000.

261 Oakwood Avenue: Deandre S. Coombs, 23, 261 Oakwood Avenue, was turned over to another police department on March 21. Police said Coombs was arrested based on a warrant out of North Canaan for threatening and that he attempted to leave through the front door as officers were knocking on the rear door. No bond was set.

South Main Street/I-84: Edgardo Sierra, 45, 228 Washington Street, New Britain, was turned over to another police department on March 21. Police said he was stopped in a motor vehicle with three special needs passengers and was arrested on a warrant out of Middletown for first-degree identity theft and criminal impersonation. No bond was set.

103 Raymond Road: Michelle Doitteau, 24, 176 Collins Street, Apt. 303, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree criminal mischief on March 21. Police said she turned herself in on a warrant stemming from a domestic violence incident where she slashed the tires on her own car because her girlfriend didn’t return her vehicle. No bond was set.

46 Kane Street: Luis Malave, 35, 33 Center Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 21. Police said he stole from ShopRite. Bond was set at $1,000.

103 Raymond Road: Leslie I. Rochester, 36, 40 Sheep Hill Drive, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on March 22. Police said he turned himself on a warrant for second-degree failure to appear and had an outstanding Connecticut State Police warrant for failing to submit to a DNA sample. Bond was set at $6,500.

214 Prospect Avenue: Kaitlyn A. Mangeri, 20, 277 Jackson Road, Enfield, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 22. Police said she was stopped on a motor vehicle violation and was found to be in possession of heroin and suboxone. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Craig N. Kimble, 52, 35 Elm Street, East Hartford, was charged with criminal attempt and sixth-degree larceny on March 22. Police said he shoplifted at Barnes and Noble. Bond was set at $5,000.

1445 New Britain Avenue: Deborah A. Norton, 43, 186 Eaton Street, Oakville, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 22. Police said she stole merchandise from Sears. Bond was set at $1,000.

Caya Avenue/Prospect Avenue: Danilo Burgos, 27, 216 Abbottsford Avenue, was charged with illegal possession on March 23. Police said they found nine bags of heroin in his shoe during a search on a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $5,000.

Flatbush Avenue/New Park Avenue: Saul Santos, 32, 19 Rollinson Road, Bristol, was charged with illegal possession, possession of drug paraphernalia and restricted turns fail signal on March 23. Police said he was arrested for narcotics possession following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Brian Crime-Vanderpool, 21, 37 Mildred Road, was charged with illegal manufacturing, distribution and sale of prescription drugs, illegal possession of marijuana, illegal tinted glass and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 23. Police said he was found to be in possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $75,000.

19 Buckingham Lane: Malcolm R. Enright, 29, 7 Mechanic Street, Windsor, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief, operating while under the influence, simple trespass, evading responsibility, following too close, passing on right and operating with registration/license/suspended/revoked on March 24. Police said he left the scene of an accident and then crashed on the front lawn of a residence several blocks away. Bond was not set.

West Hartford: Stephen A. Dombrowski, 46, 164 Bunker Hill Avenue, Meriden, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and operating while under the influence on March 24. Bond was set at $5,000.

375 Main Street, Danbury: William Lucchesi, 49, 26 Clapboard Ridge Road, Danbury, was charged with issuing a bad check and sixth-degree larceny on March 24. Police said he was arrested via a warrant pursuant to an incident last November in which he issued a check with insufficient funds. No bond was set.

I-84 East/Exit 43: Gregory M. Griffin, 28, 233 Countyline Road, Harwinton, was turned over to another police department on March 24. Police said he was found to have a valid arrest warrant out of Plainville for issuing bad checks. No bond was set.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Kamil J. Sakowski, 28, 73 Booth Street, New Britain, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, misuse of plate, no insurance, operating an unregistered motor vehicle and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 24. Police said he was found to be in possession of drug paraphernalia following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,500.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Lukasz Nadolny, 18, 55 Rackliffe Drive, New Britain, was charged with littering, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with or fabricating on March 24. Police said he was a passenger in a vehicle and threw a hypodermic needle out of the window while the car was being stopped. No bond was set.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Melissa S. Tash, 24, 28 Sandy Brook Drive, New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 24. Police said she stole two shirts from Macy’s. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Stephen F. Maldonado, 24, 25 Beechwood Road, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 24. Police said during a motor vehicle stop he tried to conceal a small bag of marijuana inside his waistband. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Brittany Marie Rugar, 24, 786 Farmington Avenue, Apt. 2F, was charged with failure to have tail lamps, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on March 24. Police said she was found to be in possession of marijuana following a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $2,500.

Hartford: James T. Harrell, 56, 57 Edgewood Street, Hartford, was charged with third-degree burglary, third-degree criminal mischief and second-degree larceny on March 25. Police said he was arrested at his residence for burglary charges. Bond was set at $75,000.

103 Raymond Road: Robert Clark, 49, 25 Thorne Road, was charged with seven counts injury/risk/impairing the morals of a minor, two counts of first-degree sexual assault and fourth-degree sexual assault on March 25. Police said he was arrested on an outstanding warrant. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Kevin A. Gordon, 19, 590 Gates Avenue Apt. 6B, New York, NY, was charged with disorderly conduct on March 25. Police said he had a dispute with staff at the American School for the Deaf. Bond was set at $7,500.

366 Prospect Avenue: Ryan O’Connor, 34, 29 Seabreeze Drive, Waterford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on March 25. Bond was set at $1,000.

Kane Street/I-84: Arthur P. Dagostino, 43, 42 Cowles Avenue Apt. 2, Plantsville, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane and illegal possession on March 25. Police said he was stopped on a motor vehicle violation and was found to be in possession of 10 bags of heroin. Bond was set at $5,000.

Trout Brook/Skyview: Christian B. Michalski, 21, 45 Lancaster Road, was charged with illegal possession of marijuana on March 25. Police said he was found to be in possession of marijuana during a motor vehicle stop. Bond was set at $1,000.

Park Road/Raymond Road: Shyam A. Kulkarni, 24, 105 Deer Run Drive, Colchester, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, operating while under the influence and restricted turns fail signal on March 26. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: James Michanczyk, 19, 99 Defashion Street, Plantsville, was charged with interfering with an officer on March 26. Police said he interfered with an investigation while locating his ex-girlfriend who was reported missing. Bond was set at $1,000.

772 North Main Street: Brenda A. Kozuch, 48, 16 Starkel Road, Apt. H, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 26. Police said she was seen shoplifting at Big Y. No bond was set.

103 Raymond Road: Buffy A. Dorsey, 40, 191 Surrey Drive, Bristol, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on March 26. Police said she turned herself in on a valid warrant. Bond was set at $2,000.

West Hartford: Lewis J. Roberts, 72, 94 Flagg Road, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 26. Police said he was stopped by store security at Big Y after concealing several items of merchandise in his clothing. Bond was set at $500.

46 Kane Street: Leslie Sinclair, 41, 235 Colebrook Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 26. Police said she shoplifted at ShopRite. Bond was set at $500.

West Hartford: Brian Sautter, 26, address listed as homeless, was charged with failure to respond to a violation on March 26. Police said he was arrested on two warrants out of Hartford for failure to appear. Bond was set at $600.

West Hartford: Crystal Carter, 20, 498 Cornwall Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on March 27. No bond was set.

West Hartford: John C. Schoeninger, 37, 289 Dondanville Road, St. Augustine, FL, was charged with failure to have lights lit/devices illuminated and operating while under the influence on March 27. Bond was set at $500.

109 Meriline Avenue: Patraj Seenarine, 39, 109 Meriline Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct and threatening on March 27. Police said he was arrested for a domestic violence incident at his home. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: Aubrey Hicks, 21, 56 Trumble Street, Plainville, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on March 27. Police said she was in a physical altercation with her cousin in the parking lot of the Westwood condos. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Herman David-Olivares, 21, 98 Hoyt Street, Stamford, was charged with violation of probation on March 27. Police said following a suspicious vehicle complaint, he was taken into custody on several active violations of probation warrants. Bond was set at $15,000.

West Hartford: Ricardo Marchand, 46, 116 Hillcrest Avenue, Apt. C, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on March 27. Bond was set at $15,000.

103 Raymond Road: William J. Smith, 76, 28 Timberline Drive, Farmington, was charged with operating while under the influence and traveling too fast for conditions on March 27. Bond was set at $1,000.

West Hartford: Jonas Hernandez, 27, 44 New Britain Avenue Apt. B5, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on March 27. Police said he was shoplifting at Sears. Bond was set at $500.

139 North Main Street: Aaron Dashawn Montgomery, 19, 139 Main Street, Apt. 116, was charged with disorderly conduct on March 28. Police said he was involved in an altercation with an American School for the Deaf staff member. Bond was set at $1,000.
