Simsbury Road Crash Sends Two to Hospital
Motor vehicle accident occurred near the intersection with Mohegan Dr. in West Hartford.
A two-vehicle accident Monday afternoon snarled traffic and sent two individuals to the hospital on Monday afternoon.
According to West Hartford Police Capt. Donald Melanson, the accident occurred at 3:32 p.m. The cause of the accident is still under investigation, Melanson said.
Witness Robert Zinkerman, who provided the photos, said that accidents at the intersection of Simsbury Rd. and Mohegan Dr. are common. He noted that speeding is common in the area, and the glare of the sun often obstructs vision.
