Police arrest log for April 18-24, 2011

West Hartford: Ryan Murphy, 22, 261 Main Street, Newington, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 18. Police said he was involved in a physical altercation with his girlfriend. Bond was set at $5,000.

 Farmington Avenue/Lexington Road: Alec B. Sullivan, 18, 702 Farmington Avenue Apt. C4, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 18. Bond was set at $2,500.

101 Lafayette Street, Hartford: Tenisha D. Lee, 34, 145 Greenfield Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 18. Bond was set at $2,500.

101 Lafayette Street, Hartford: Devon Mitchell, 20, address not listed, was charged with two counts of sixth-degree larceny on April 18. Bond was set at $2,500.

101 Lafayette Street, Hartford: Craig N. Kimble, 52, 35 Elm Street, East Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 18. Bond was set at $5,000.

103 Raymond Road: Eric R. Heaven, 25, 74 Mansfield Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree failure to appear on April 18. Police said he turned himself in on a warrant for failure to appear. Bond was set at $2,500.

1044 Boulevard: Seth Hooks-Simmonds, 20, 16 West Beacon Street, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and public indecency on April 18. Police said he exposed himself in the parking lot of CVS. Bond was set at $2,000.

West Hartford: Giovanni Torres, 20, 117 Harbison Street, Hartford, was charged with second-degree assault of the elderly, blind, disabled, mentally retarded, disorderly conduct and second-degree reckless endangerment on April 19. Police said he turned himself in on a domestic warrant. Bond was set at $50,000.

West Hartford: Giovanni Torres, 36, 45 Rowe Avenue, Hartford, was charged with misuse of license plate, no insurance, operating with registration/license/suspended/revoked, operating an unregistered vehicle, and operating while under the influence on April 19. Bond was set at $500.

35 Cambridge Street: Andy M. Gajju, 21, 35 Cambridge Street, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening on April 19. Police said he was arrested following a domestic disturbance with his girlfriend where he threatened her and pushed her while walking down the street. Bond was set at $10,000.

46 Kane Street: Lori A. Bopp, 49, 124 Edgemont Avenue, was charged with violation of probation on April 19. Bond was set at $463.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Matthew A. Zongol, 27, 15 Alexander Road, New Britain, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 19. Police said he stole a bottle of Ralph Lauren cologne from Macy's. Bond was set at $500.

103 Raymond Road: Nelson I. Martinez, 25, 11 Fenwood Avenue, was charged with illegal possession on April 19. No bond was set.

503 New Park Avenue: Jose J. Cruz, 39, 277 Wethersfield Avenue Apt. B-1, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 19. Police said he stole two tools from Home Depot worth $24.95. Bond was set at $500.

111 Federal Street: Joanna M. Heath, 27, 223 Berlin Avenue, Southington, was charged with third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and operating with registration/license/suspended/revoked on April 19. Police said she was arrested following a domestic dispute with her husband where she scratched him in the face. Bond was set at $2,500.

46 Kane Street: David C. Brown, 47, 36 Briar Lane, Bloomfield, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, interfering with an officer, and sixth-degree larceny on April 19. Police said he was arrested subsequent to a shoplifting incident at ShopRite, where they said he resisted arrest and refused to be handcuffed. Bond was set at $2,500.

46 Kane Street: Marie Walsh, 30, 189 Whitney Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 19. Police said she shoplifted from ShopRite. Bond was set at $1,500.

46 Kane Street: Stefanie Beaudreault, 26, 189 Whitney Street, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 19. Police said she shoplifted from ShopRite. Bond was set at $1,500.

West Hartford: Brandon M. Perez, 24, 80 Vinehill Road, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on April 20. Police said he was arrested after an argument with his stepfather. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Lam Nguyen, 35, 100 Lyman Road, was charged with third-degree criminal mischief and disorderly conduct on April 20. Police said he was arrested on a domestic warrant after an incident that occurred on April 15 involving his wife. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Magaly Mas, 31, 238 North Street, New Britain, was charged with fifth-degree larceny on April 20. Bond was set at $5,000.

 245 Prospect Avenue: Jeffrey J. Kaminski, 36, 96 Old Town Road, Cheshire, was charged with failure to wear seat belt, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 20. Bond was set at $5,000.

 46 Kane Street: Jose Valdes, 24, 5 Upson Street Apt. 7, Bristol, was turned over to another police department on April 20. Police said during a routine traffic stop, he was found to have a valid arrest warrant. No bond was set.

West Hartford: George W. Rooney, 57, 87 Shadow Lane B1, was charged with 17 counts of third-degree larceny, second-degree identity theft, third-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny on April 20. Bond was set at $10,000.

941 Farmington Avenue: Mark Atmore, 18, 145 Cleveland Avenue, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, third-degree criminal mischief, illegal possession of marijuana, interfering with an officer and first-degree robbery on April 21. Police said Atmore and cohorts chased and accosted a person with the intent to rob him and Atmore was found to be in possession of four ounces of marijuana. Bond was set at $10,000.

West Hartford: Riley Carroll, 18, 250 Griswold Drive, was charged with interfering with an officer on April 21. Police said he turned himself in on an interfering warrant from an incident on April 8. Bond was set at $2,500.

West Hartford: James E. Carroll, 46, 250 Griswold Drive, was charged with interfering with an officer on April 21. Police said he turned himself in on an interfering warrant from an incident on April 8. Bond was set at $2,500.

300 Woodland Drive, Cromwell: Charles T. French, 46, 17 Bolton Street, Hartford, was charged with two counts of second-degree forgery and third-degree larceny on April 21. Police said he was arrested by the Cromwell Police after he hid from them at his place of employment (Woodland Heights in Cromwell). He was then arrested on an outstanding West Hartford warrant charging him with third-degree larceny and two counts of second-degree forgery. Bond was set at $5,000.

Memorial Road/South Main Street: Wesley T. Shuff, 49, 30 Gillette Street Apt. 2F, Hartford, was charged with second-degree breach of peace, second-degree larceny and third-degree robbery on April 21. Police said he was arrested after attempting to take money from a woman who was sitting in her vehicle at Whole Foods. He was arrested shortly after he left the scene, said police. Bond was set at $100,000.

New Park Avenue/Layton Street: Ava L. Gedney, 33, 17 Madison Road, Glastonbury, was charged with operating a motor vehicle while using a cell phone and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 21. Police said during a motor vehicle stop, she was found to be in possession of a crack pipe. Bond was set at $1,000.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Meghan M. McCarthy, 19, 26 Hotchkiss Street Apt. 2, Middletown, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 21. Police said during a motor vehicle stop, she was found to be in possession of heroin. Bond was set at $2,500.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Nicholas A. Cosmos, 21, 91 Clark Street, Wolcott, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 21. Bond was set at $5,000.

I-84 West/Exit 43: Wallace Hitchcock, 22, 34 Sandy Lane, Wolcott, was charged with failure to drive in proper lane, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 21. Bond was set at $2,500.

103 Raymond Road: Wallace W. Hitchcock, 45, 34 Sandy Lane, Wolcott, was turned over to another police department on April 21. Police said he came into the West Hartford Police Department to discuss his son’s arrest and he had an arrest warrant out of Waterbury for threatening. No bond was set.

West Hartford: Levi C. Chatinover, 26, 155 Windermere Avenue Apt. 2706, Ellington, was charged with failure to have tail lamps, illegal possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 21. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, he was found to be in possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $1,000.

36 Huckleberry Lane: Anthony J. Boklovac, 28, 36 Huckleberry Lane, was charged with disorderly conduct, interfering with an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 22. Police said he was taken into custody without incident on an arrest warrant. He was also charged with illegal possession of marijuana. Police said a small amount of marijuana was located during the arrest. Bond was set at $6,500.

1044 Boulevard: Sarah N. Majka, 26, 54C Main Street, Meriden, was charged with illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 22. Police said Majka  was with a male who committed a larceny at CVS and she was arrested for possession of crack and drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $2,500.

1044 Boulevard: Scott A. Dubreuil, 50, 80 Hickory Street, Norwich, was charged with sixth-degree larceny and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 22. Police said he was arrested for shoplifting $46 worth of condoms from CVS. Bond was set at $1,500.

Flatbush Avenue/New Park Avenue: Gary Dorman, 49, 51 Stuart Street, Newington, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, illegal possession and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 22. Police said following a motor vehicle stop, Dorman was found to be in possession of liquid methadone and crack cocaine pipes. Bond was set at $2,500.

Albany Avenue/Trout Brook Drive: Dorian Greene, 51, 171 Rogers Street, Hartford, was charged with interfering with an officer, sixth-degree larceny and third-degree robbery on April 22. Police said the incident occurred at Big Y. Bond was set at $7,500.

West Hartford: Christopher C. Barfield, 24, 163 Pembroke Street, was charged with third-degree assault, first-degree criminal trespass, disorderly conduct, second-degree strangulation and first-degree unlawful restraint on April 22. Police said Barfield was arrested on the strength of a domestic violence warrant. Bond was set at $7,500.

West Hartford: Brian J. Grijalva, 42, 2050 Park Street Apt. A2, Hartford, was charged with sixth-degree larceny on April 22. Police said he was arrested for shoplifting at 46 Kane Street. Bond was set at $1,500.

33 Abbotsford Avenue: Leoner Negron, 21, 54 Arlington Street, Hartford, was charged with failure to display plate/sticker, failure to obey officer’s signal, illegal possession of marijuana, interfering with an officer, misuse of license plate, no insurance and operating an unregistered motor vehicle on April 22. Police said he did not stop when signaled to during a motor vehicle stop. An investigation led to 33 Abbotsford Avenue where Negron was in the driver’s seat and found to be in possession of marijuana. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Omar Haughton, 29, 44 Green Street, Hartford, was charged with operating while under the influence on April 22. Police said he was taken into custody on the strength of a warrant. Bond was set at $1,000.

147 Mayflower Street: Itzaira Martinez, 23, 147 Mayflower Street, was charged with second-degree breach of peace on April 23. Police said she was arrested resulting from an altercation with her boyfriend. No bond was set.

1106 New Britain Avenue: Matthew S. Parowski, 19, 588 Hoover Avenue, Washington Township, NJ, was charged with third-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespass on April 23. Police said he was arrested after entering a window in the Elmwood Community Center. Bond was set at $5,000.

1106 New Britain Avenue: Robert J. Faenza, 18, 847 South Quaker Lane, was charged with third-degree burglary, second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree forgery on April 23. Police said he entered an unsecured building without permission. Bond was set at $5,000.

West Hartford: Amarliz Caldero, 36, 14 Gilman Street, Hartford, was charged with conspiracy, and one count of fifth-degree larceny on April 23. Police said she was arrested on the strength of an arrest warrant. Bond was set at $5,000.

293 New Park Avenue, Hartford: Nelson Echevarria, 18, 636 West Main Street, New Britain, was charged with interfering with an officer on April 23. Police said he was a passenger in a motor vehicle that fled from police. Upon fleeing from the vehicle, he tried to jump a fence and fought with police, was struck with Taser and taken into custody, according to police. Bond was set at $2,500.

1500 New Britain Avenue: Carlton J. Lee, 25, 99 Highland Avenue, Windsor, was charged with first-degree criminal trespass on April 23. Police said he was caught trespassing at WestFarms mall. Bond was set at $5,000.

294 Newington Road: Steven D. Abbate, 48, 294 Newington Road, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 24. Police said he was involved in a verbal altercation with several of his tenants. No bond was set.

Isham Road/Raymond Road: Matthew C. Larkin, 54, 9 Concord Street Apt. C-1, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and first-degree criminal trespass on April 24. Police said he was arrested subsequent to a disturbance at Dunkin’ Donuts, 41 South Main Street. Bond was set at $1,000.

36 Nesbit Avenue: Ariel Santos, 29, 36 Nesbit Avenue, was charged with disorderly conduct on April 24. Police said Santos was involved in a domestic incident with his stepdaughter and wife. Bond was set at $1,000.
