West Hartford Police Log: Counterfeit, Assault, Protective Order

Patrick Dodd, 26, of Cromwell, was arrested Oct. 29 and charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault. According to police, Dodd is accused of assaulting his son’s mother by punching her in the head and pulling braids out of her hair. He was held on $2,500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 30.
John Walter Nosek, 42, of 91 Wellington Drive, Farmington, was arrested Oct. 30 and charged with second-degree failure to appear. According to police, an officer working on a construction site recognized Nosek and knew he was operating under suspension. He was held on $500 surety bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 6.
Joe Thomas, 55, of Bloomfield, was arrested Oct. 31 during a motor vehicle stop in Windsor and charged with second-degree forgery, fraudulent use of a teller machine, sixth-degree larceny and multiple counts of conspiracy to commit larceny. According to police, he was arrested on a warrant during a motor vehicle stop. He was held on $40,000 and scheduled to appear in court.

Samuel Greenhut-Snyder, 27, of 35 Vardon Road, West Hartford, was arrested Oct. 31 and charged with fraudulent use of an ATM, illegal use of a credit card and first-degree larceny, as well as conspiracy to commit second-degree forgery. According to police, the charges stem from an incident against the accused’s father He was held on $100,000 bond and scheduled to appear Oct. 31.
Harry Luis Figueroa, 54, of 147 Florence St., West Hartford was arrested Sunday and was church with criminal violation of a protective order (threatening). He was held on $35,000 and scheduled to appear Nov. 1. According to police, Figueroa turned himself in to police.

Mark Diaz, 19, of Zion St., Hartford, was arrested Oct. 31 and charged with sixth-degree larceny and conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny. He was held on $4,000 surety bond and scheduled to appear Nov. 1.
