West Hartford Firefighter, Husband Face Charges Following Fight

Police were called to their apartment on a report of a 'domestic violence incident.'


A West Hartford firefighter and her husband were arrested on assault charges early Wednesday reportedly after a "domestic violence" incident in their apartment.

According to WFSB, police responded to their apartment about 1 a.m. July 2 and found the couple both bleeding and suffering facial wounds. 

Police arrested Vincent Adell, 47, and Marsha McCurdy, 38, on third-degree assault and disorderly conduct charges. Both were treated and released at local hospitals and then held on $25,000 bond each.
